A must go for anyone coming to austin! When I first stepped into the store, I was already amazed by the range of items they provided. As I walked into the store, I discovered even more pockets of spaces that seemed endless. (AKA the store is HUGE) They have many unique little items that are reasonably priced. Great for all ages and I will definitely come back again!

Another fantastic find. I can't believe I've never taken the time to go inside. You will get lost both literally and figuratively. Much like objects in your side mirrors, it's much larger [inside] than it appears. Huge selection of unique quality Texas collectibles. Many tchotchkes but they are all well made. Socks, socks, and more socks. If you like fun socks, this is your place for that too! Perfect place to bring out of town guests or pick up gifts for your native breathren that live elsewhere to send them for a taste of home. Plan to take your time and browse every nook and cranny.

Beware: You WILL feel uncomfortable in this store. I've never felt so disappointed and unwelcome! The merchandise is far from unique, and the staff is less than kind. Maybe take it down a notch on your judgemental attitude toward customers. You're not keeping Austin weird... just over-priced and obnoxiously sad. Note to the customer who felt discriminated -- it's not you or the color of your skin! They treat everyone poorly.

Love the selection and variety. If you are looking for an Austin based gift, this is your first stop. Prices are reasonable. Store attendants are extremely helpful. Fun shopping experience.

I stopped in today at this eclectic Austin store. They have a wide variety of humorous and nostalgic items, t-shirts and clothing, jewelry and a lot more. The staff is friendly, the variety is tremendous, and you will find things you may not find anywhere else. It's a lot of fun. Stop in and poke around and find that unusual special item. I recommend it. Keeping Austin weird.

I love shopping here again and again! There is always something new to discover. Atown is my first stop when buying a gift and on the must do list when I am showing visitors around town. Thank you for continuing to be my favorite spot for retail therapy.

Ehh... doesn't feel 'Austin' to me. The new (not) Austin perhaps; definitely not the long ago Austin when it was genuinely cool. Have been here a handful of times, and not once did I feel welcome or comfortable. If I was greeted, it wasnt happily. The merchandise isn't anything spectacular either.
